The RibCraft is one of the Centre's RiBs, used as a Safety Boat during Sailing Courses and also as a training mechanism for Safety Boat Training. The rigiflex is an ideal boat that allows Cadets to undertake a Level 2 planing course. It is ideal for allowing the Cadets to practice their skills in a fun yet controlled way. The Cheverton Champ is water cooled inboard engine displacement boat. With a max of 6 knots it is a useful craft for the introduction to Powerboating to Cadets. The Laser Pico dinghy is a small craft that can be sailed by one or two Cadets, or one adult. It is an excellent training boat for Cadets new to sailing.

The Wanderer is a 14 foot fibreglass hull Bermuda rigged sailing dinghy that has proven popular with Cadets since its introduction to the Centre in 2015. The RS Zest, also recently introduced as a replacement/compliment to the Picos is a single handed dinghy, ideal for novice sailors The RS Quest has proven to be a very popular sailing boat that can have a maximum of three persons. It is an ideal training mechanism for all levels. The Trinity 500 Rowing Boat is a light-weight fixed seat rowing boat that was designed for the Sea Cadets. It has an engine bracket fitted so that it can also be used as a powerboat. (see below)

The yole is a sliding seat rowing boat that can be used by one or two people. The Trinity 500 with its outboard engine. The introduction of Paddlesports to Derwenthaugh has proven to be very popular with Cadets and Staff. Craft include sit-on-tops, canoes, and kayaks. Image shows the sit-on-top boat.
       
The Centre also offers basic and intermediate mountain biking courses. These also have proven to be very popular An activity that was very popular when it was too dark or cold to do boating, Units were able to bring their Cadets to the Centre where they were training in archery. The Centre has been fortunate in obtaining funding for buying Stand-up Paddle Boards, this has proven to be very popular with Cadets and Staff.
