Boat Booking Form

Please use this form if you are booking boats, for either evening boating, or for use when booking the Centre. Boats must be booked out if you are hiring the Centre as we cannot guarantee their availability otherwise.

To request any other Asset, such as First Aid Kit/AT Kit, buoancy aids to take off site, please use the Asset Request Form.

Units should fill out the form at the beginning of the summer boating season and this will remain in place until the end of the evening boating year. It is up to the Units to let us know at the beginning of the month if there are any changes in requirements, or evenings that will not be required. It is important to let the Centre know this to prevent support staff making unnecessary journeys.

The RibCrafts are not for general use and anyone wishing to have special permission to use this must contact the Boat Station Principal or Chief Instructor; however there are two Rigiflex boats available for Unit booking. Please be aware that the engines on these MUST be lifted prior to being taken off the water - do not drive up to the slipway with engines down. RiBs must only be used by a responsible approved person.

To help you plan the boats you require, please refer to the spreadsheet, this also indicates the availability of the boats; however if a boat has been taken out of service, it might not always appear on the spreadsheet.

There are three sections to the form - the first is for generic information and everyone needs to fill this in. The second is for for evening boating, the third is for those requiring boats during day time/weekends; or for those wishing to hire the Centre and its boats.
